SEO test
A question that has bothered me for a while is if reciprocals are as good as one-way links and if they’re not, how much worse they are. So I’m performing this little SEO test.
To find out which is best, simply click this link: http://www.google.com/search?q=gdseo%20testrecip
Here is a chart over how the pages are connected:

The content is random lorem ipsum, the keyword density is exactly the same in all files.

Reciprocal links I believe are just as good as one way links.
Best

ipip is #1 because it gets the most juice.
It gets 2 links to it as well as sitip but etsit has more power and thus gives more to ipip than orip gives to sitip.
I belive reciprocals are the same or slightly the same good as normal links IF NOT USED IN EXCESS.

Yeah, Im also more and more convinced that recips are ok as long as they are only a small part of the links that go to your site. But sites with LOTS of recips have clearly lost ranking.

I thought one-way links were counted much higher — but only if they are relevant. Isn’t that the point of Semantic Indexing?

Sorry if I’ve missed something obvious here, but are you talking about any specific search engine? If not, wouldn’t different companies & therefor different policies weigh reciprocals to one way links differently ?
Hoping for clarification, not trying to be a smart arse :)

I agree with this, about recips are ok as long as they are only a small part of the links that go to your site
